01Can I bring soda on a cruise?+
Beverage policies vary by cruise line, ship, itinerary, and sailing date—and they can change. Check the official policy for your exact sailing before packing. SODAMATE™ is a carrier and does not guarantee that beverages will be accepted onboard.
02What exactly is SODAMATE™?+
SODAMATE™ is a lightweight, reusable beverage carrier designed to hold two 12-packs of standard 12 oz cans in fridge-pack cartons—24 cans total. You are purchasing the bag only; beverages are not included.
03Why not just carry the cardboard cartons?+
Cold cartons can collect condensation when they leave the refrigerator and meet warm, humid air. That moisture may soften the cardboard and weaken the hand openings. SODAMATE™ helps keep two cartons supported, together, and easier to manage.
04Is SODAMATE™ a cooler?+
No. The standard SODAMATE™ bag is not insulated and does not actively cool beverages. It is designed for organized, short-distance transport from departure to destination.
05What are the bag dimensions?+
The bag measures approximately 15.5 inches wide × 10 inches tall × 5.5 inches deep and is shaped around two familiar 12 oz soda fridge-pack cartons.
06Why does the front have a clear window?+
The clear window keeps beverage carton labels visible, helping checkpoint staff see what is inside without hiding the carton identity. Inspection procedures vary, and staff may still ask you to open the bag.
07How should I carry it with rolling luggage?+
Use the reinforced padded carry handles. For added stability with a rollerboard, wrap the bag handles around the extended rollerboard handle. Do not rely on the rear elastic strap alone to support a fully loaded bag.
08Can I take it through airport security?+
Airline and security rules differ from cruise policies. SODAMATE™ may be carried only when its contents comply with current TSA, airport, airline, and destination requirements. Verify those rules before flying.
09How do I clean and store it?+
Spot clean with warm water and mild soap, then air dry completely. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Remove the support board and fold the bag flat for storage.
10Can I use it beyond a cruise?+
Yes. Use it for road trips, beach days, pool parties, picnics, tailgates, hotels, vacation rentals, and other trips where carrying beverage cartons in one reusable bag is useful.
